Train Tour Cost Includes:
- Overnight travel onboard train in the comfort of richly furnished private A/C sleeping chambers with ensuite bathrooms.
- Daily three meals (breakfast, lunch & dinner) with packaged drinking water, tea/coffee service & non-alcoholic beverages.

- Deluxe Cabin Guests: City sightseeing tours are conducted in air-conditioned buses with an English-speaking guide (except for shared Canter safaris in the Tiger Reserve).
- Presidential Suite Guests: City sightseeing tours are arranged in private air-conditioned cars with an English-speaking guide (except for shared Canter safaris in the Tiger Reserve).
Exclusions (Extra costs not included in train tour tariff):
- Govt. taxes & insurance.
- Optional use of spa facility or laundry services.
- Gratuities – Tips or porter fee.
- Video & professional still camera fees.
- Any activity mentioned as optional in the tour journey.
- Air tickets.
- Travel/Tour insurance.
- Transfer to & from the railway station on start & end of itinerary.
Booking Terms & Conditions
- The booking will be confirmed on the receipt of 30% advance deposit of published ticket value
- Balance 70% payment must reach us at least 70 days before the departure date with the reservation form.
- In case booking request is made less than 70 days of the departure date, we will require a one-time full advance deposit to confirm booking
- Prices are subject to vary in the event that the itinerary is altered or if there are additional costs, such as fuel or taxes
- Deccan Odyssey Train Tour is Jointly OPERATED by Tourism Department of Maharashtra State Govt & The Royal Journeys (A unit of Ebix Cash)
- Liability of Royal Indian Trains is limited to that of booking agent only.
Booking Procedure
- Check Availability: Provide the date of journey and cabin type required.
- Booking Process: Submit passport copies of all passengers.

Payment Terms:
- A 30% advance deposit of the published ticket price is required to confirm the booking.
- Payment can be made via bank transfer, credit or debit card.
- For bookings made less than 70 days before departure date, one-time full deposit is required at the time of booking.
- The balance payment must be received at least 70 days before departure.
Cancellation Rules
- The Deccan Odyssey Train Tour is operated through a joint collaboration between the Tourism Department of Maharashtra Government and Ebix Cash (Private Tour Operator).
- Royal Indian Trains acts solely as a booking agent and holds no operational liability.
- All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing and acknowledged by us.
Cancellation Fees:
- Minimum 10% cancellation fee on published ticket value inclusive of taxes (and not on discounted rate offered) if the request is received more than 62 days prior to the tour departure.
- Minimum 20% cancellation fee on published ticket value (inclusive of taxes) if the request is received between 47 to 61 days prior to the tour departure.
- Minimum 50% cancellation fee on published ticket value (inclusive of taxes) if the request is received between 32 to 46 days prior to the tour departure
- No refund is permitted if the cancellation request is received less than 32 days prior to the tour departure.
Special Cancellation & Refund Conditions:
- If the Train Tour Operator cancels the scheduled departure for any reason, a full refund will be provided.

No refund will be issued if:
- The guest fails to follow the scheduled itinerary or shortens their journey.
- The guest is unable to obtain an Indian visa.
- In case of a medical emergency, supporting medical records will be reviewed by the Train Management, and their decision will be final.
- If a refund is applicable, Royal Indian Trains reserves the right to deduct USD 100 per person as bank processing fees.
- Refunds will be processed based on the Indian Rupees exchange value received at the time of payment.
Important:
- The scheduled train tour departure is subject to a minimum booking of 25 passengers.
- All foreign passport holders must obtain an Indian visa before boarding their flight from their country of residence.
- Guests are strongly advised to purchase travel insurance in their home country prior to departure.
- Any disputes, if arising, shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in NCR Delhi (Gurgaon), India.

Booking Procedure:
- Advice date of travel & number of cabins required
- Forward scanned copies of passport of all the passengers to process booking request
- We require minimum advance deposit of 20% of total ticket value to confirm booking
- Balance amount must reach us before 45 days of tour depart with passport & visa copy
- Booking request made< 45 days before tour depart will be confirmed on receipt of one time full tour amount deposit.

Cancellation Terms:
- All cancellation requests must be forwarded in writing & acknowledged by us
- Nil cancellation fee if booking cancelled more than 61 days prior to train depart
- Minimum 20% cancellation fee levy on total ticket value if informed between 46 days to 60 days prior to tour depart
- Minimum 50% cancellation fee levy on total ticket value if informed between 45 days to 31 days prior to tour depart
- Full 100% cancellation fee levy on total ticket value if informed less than 31 days prior to tour depart
- In case of No show, failure to join the train tour, refusal to continue with train journey -for whatsoever reasons, the tour amount is non refundable
Refund Policy:
- After written request by client on mail - Refund will be processed within 20 working days if pay by credit card/debit card and 25 working days if paid by bank transfer.
Important:
- Coxs & Kings,India is the principal train tour operator of Deccan Odyssey Train Tour & liability of Royal Indian Train is limited to that of booking agent only.
- Due to technical reasons, If Principal train Tour Operator( Coxs & Kings) decides to cancel your train tour depart, you will be immediately intimated by e-mail & Liability of Royal Indian Trains is ONLY limited to refund advance amount received from you for booking train tour ticket value.
- Royal Indian Trains bears no further liability to compensate financial loss & mental agony (if any ) suffered by you on account of cancellation of air tickets/hotel bookings/visa arranged by yourself -if train tour depart is cancelled by Principal Train Tour Operator
- In case of booking being cancelled by you ,Royal Indian Train reserves the right to deduct Bank Processing Fee at time of making overseas refunds
- It is mandatory for All Foreign Passport Holders to obtain Indian Visa prior to boarding International Flight
- Disputes, if any, are subject to jurisdiction of courts of New Delhi(India) only & liability of Royal Indian trains is limited to that of booking agent only.
